Saito Marimbas

Since 1947, Saito of Japan has been manufacturing fine concert keyboard percussion instruments.

Bar materials

Saito utilizes three main types of wood as bar material for our marimbas and xylophones.

We select only the highest quality among these woods for use in the creation of our instruments.

Adjustable caps

Striving for the best possible resonance for a broad range of instruments, we have adopted an adjustable, oval-shaped design for our low-tone resonators. The strength of this design is that it produces resonance without lag-time. In addition, resonators can be adjusted to a position of optimum resonance and adapts well to changes in temperature and relative humidity.
*MSW-5300/5400/3800 models have adjustable resonator caps

Optional color of resonators

It can choice three color of resonator (Brown,Gray metallic,Gold).Standard color of MSK,MSW series is Brown.

Backbone frame

To get the longest life out an instrument it has to be built to withstand the wear and tear of daily use.
Saito's original "Backbone Frame" is extremely durable and is designed to sustain the shock of transport and rough handling.
