One of leading vibraphonist in Japan.
Hitoshi Hamada studied percussion at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.After graduation, He joined and recorded as vibraphonist at Japanese leading jazz drummer Takeshi Inomata's group "FORCE".
He performed this group around the world for four years and recoded seven CD, and he was honored as Japanese leading vib player.
After breaking up this group, he attended and recorded many sessions. Now he frequently teaches Jazz method and technique many young player.
He take his first leader recording "FOX DANCE" at 2001.
and start new his group "Quiet triangle" at 2008.
